Description

The SHIN-TENYO non-rising stem resilient seated gate valve allows for two-way flow direction and used for closing or opening the medium flow. This valve can be installed in horizontal and vertical positions in the piping systems. It is widely used in process industries such as Refinery Plant, Fire Protection System and Cooling System, any fluid without acidity or alkalinity.
The SHIN-TENYO non-rising stem resilient seated gate valves are non-rising spindle design with gate fully encapsulated in EPDM rubber. The smooth invert eliminates dirt pockets that can prevent proper closing of the valve and accurate rubber molding ensures low closing torques and effective seal. The entire valve is coated with fusion-bonded epoxy for a high level of corrosion protection, with all materials certified for potable water use. The Valve Body, Bonnet, Gland, Hand wheel or Nut shall be cast from thick wall patterns resulting in a minimum wall thickness as shown on Page 9 in Section 4.4 Table1 of AWWA C**0 and C**9 and be constructed of ductile iron ASTM A**6 grade *******2. All ferrous surfaces to be fusion-bonded epoxy coated, no exposed uncoated metal. The threaded Wedge nut shall be bronze and shall be separate from the Wedge not connected inside the Wedge to allow for easy replacement.
