Highly effective peat moss absorbent from Russia which is intended for oil spill response from a water surface and the soil.

The oil absorbent ARCTIC is produced from ecologically clean raw materials poorly decomposed (up to*5%) of peat moss free from radiological and toxicological contamination. Peats with such indicators are formed only in northern latitudes of our planet.

The natural peat moss absorbent is 4 times more effective than a synthetic sorbent!
Oil absorbent absorbs and hold crude oil, oil products, various combustible liquids and oils. Oil absorbent ARCTIC works perfectly in any weather and extreme temperatures **0…**0 Ð¾Ð¡

After use (saturation), oil absorbent ARCTIC is utilized in boiler plants as a high-calorie secondary fuel or by burning in special prepared open areas without damage to the environment.

According to the developed production technology, The oil absorbent ARCTIC is subjected to special heat treatment to a humidity of ****0%, then crushed to a fraction of 0.**8mm. Oil absorption is ***0g of oil per 1g of sorbent, the time of oil saturation to the limit value of ***0min, the period of oil preservation in the sorbent volume excluding its spontaneous flow is not limited, buoyancy is not less than *2 hours, selectivity to oil in the oil-water system is ****5%.
