caps inspector system originally designed to check quality of plastic caps and more generally of closures up to a maximum production rate of 1,**0 pcsmin by using up to five matrix cameras.

1) measurements of circumference dimension
2) circumference shape
3) flashes presence
4) non uniformity or absence of colour
5) correctness of the sealing cone
6) presence of dirt spots inside the cap
7) imperfections or material lack of the upper profile

Lateral check
1) material lack of the upper profile
2) presence of flashes, even small, comparing to a reference sample. 
3) presence of dirt spots on lateral surface
