DEC flexible acoustic insulated ducting is an all metal flexible duct that is constructed entirely without the use of adhesives. The lock mechanical joint makes an air tight seam, while the circumferential corrugations provide excellent strength and flexibility.DEC flexible acoustic insulated ducting provides an ideal solution to the problems inherent in most cloth flexible duct.

Inner duct of this flexible acoustic insulated ducting is perforated AL foil duct, which is covered with tough polyester film and *5mm *6kg/m³ fiber glass wool. The barrier is PE film or non-woven fabric. The outer jacket is PVC combined AL foil duct enforced with helix spiral wire. It is characteristic of preventing sound leaking from duct wall, good resistance to acid, fire-resistance, penetration and tear-resistance. The flexible acoustic insulated ducting has much lower pressure loss than conventional cloth ducts due to the small but consistent corrugations that provide both strength and flexibility.

The thermal insulation is suitable for preventing condensation and minimizing heat loss and loss of cold.
