Critical factors for excellent project management, in addition to the necessary tools and techniques (methodology), are determined by the people skills of the project manager and his/her team members, like leadership, communication, negotiating, conflict handling and stakeholders approach.
For that reason there is a growing need for coaching of project managers, coaching of project teams and others involved in project management. In particular when a project team has little experience, or a large (customer or internal) project with high impact is involved, it adds value bringin in external coaching on a temporary basis.
The coaching approach is to work with clear objectives, formulated by the people involved. Progress will be measured on a regular basis. Finally the project manager and the project team will take responsibilty for their own development steps and project results.
Cadence offers Individual Coaching of Project managers or Sponsors and Coaching of a single Project team or multiple Project teams.
