PTFE is a polymer material that is capable to resist corrosive attack, high temperatures and pressure. Thus, PTFE expansion joints are ideally suited for industries that handle chemical liquids and pulp paper industries.
 
The low spring rates and high flexibility of the expansion joint offers protection to fragile pipes from damage caused by expansion, contraction or ambient vibration. Our PTFE expansion joints are reinforce externally with stainless steel rings (SUS **6 L) between arches to enhance the pressure resistance.
