Shimano has completely re-imagined their Stella line of fishing
reels and the ***0 XG FI is completely renewed and better than
ever. Shimano Stella reels are now even more versatile and suited
for fishing fresh and salt water. Shimano came out with several new
innovations for this new series including their Micromodule Gear
Technology, Coreprotect rollers and rotors as well as a G Free
Body. What this means is that youre getting the same great quality
youve always loved in Shimano while getting a product that has been
newly upgraded with all the latest bells and whistles.
Shimano fishing has now developed Micromodule Gear Technology which
is an innovation that allows for a smoother winding with less
vibration while the G Free Body altered the reels center of gravity
when placed on your rod so that you are no longer burdened with
winding fatigue. The Coreprotect adds a layer of protection through
a sealed bail arm, line rotor, and roller clutch so that you are
able to continue fishing in nearly any environment keeping the
Shimano Stella ***0 reel truly versatile.
Shimano also included *3 SA-RB bearings and a completely new
anti-reverse bearing so that you can fish with less friction and an
easier handle rotation. Additionally there is a durable titanium
bail arm and ergonomic drag knob for adjusting the coil wave spring
drag.
