Silicon nitride riser tubes are used in low pressure casting holding furnaces.

 

As a necessary parts for low pressure casting holding furnaces, riser tubes have undergone several generations of material "evolution". From metal materials to ceramic materials, from ordinary ceramic materials to composite ceramic materials, several major problems in the use of the riser were basically solved until the emergence of the silicon nitride riser:

 

1. Corrosion resistance: The riser tube made of metal is easily corroded in high-temperature metal solutions. Even if the riser of composite ceramics is used, such as the silicon carbide material, the corrosion is very serious. The service life is within ***2 months.
