The rotary encoder is an electromechanical device that can convert the angular motion of the shaft into a pulse signal with a phase deviation of *0 ° between A and B phases, where C is the reference ground for A/B signals

1. The positive and reverse directions can be obtained according to the phase relationship of A/B signals.

2. The number of rotating steps can be obtained by counting the pulses.

3. The angular velocity can be obtained according to the counting of pulse in unit time.

In addition, the axis of the rotary encoder can not only rotate horizontally, but also move up and down to realize the function of keys
