Components & Functions
1. Solar modules: Solar module is the core and the most valuable part of the solar electricity generating system. The function is to convert the radiation of the sun into electricity and store it in battery to promote the workloads.
2. Solar Controller: The function of the solar controller is to control the working status of the whole system, and provide the over-charge/discharge protection for the storage battery. When there is great difference in temperature, qualified controller shall have the function to compromise it. Additional functions (Optional): Light-operated switch; Time-operated switch.
3. Storage Battery: Normally it is lead-acid battery. In small and micro systems, nickel-hydrogen, nickel-cadmium or lithium batteries can be used too. The function is to store all electricity emitted by solar module converted from sunlight, and to release the electricity when necessary.
4. Inverter: The direct output solar energy is normally *2VDC, *4VDC, and *8VDC. To provide power for apparatus of **0VAC, DC-AC inverter is required.

1. Residential use: (1) Continuous loads of *0 to **0w for remote areas(islands, pastures and frontier defense stations) lack of electricity, for lighting, TV and radio, etc.
