Sorbitol
Sorbitol is a kind of non-sugar sweetener made from high
quality dextrose by hydrogenation and refining. It has lower
sweet than sucrose, and can`t be absorbed by some bacteria.
Advantage:
It has the good characteristics of better moisture retention, acid
resistance and non-ferment.
Application:
1. food industry: chewing gum, candy, sweetened bean paste and cake
etc for sugar free food.
2. pharmaceutical industry: as the excipient for processing Vitamin
