Tinplate is used for the manufacturing of containers for packing various edible products as Vanaspati, Edible Oils, Fruit juices, Milk products etc and non-edible products such as paints, cosmetics, pesticides etc. Tinplate is also used for making closures and caps for jars and bottles. It is used in engineering industries for Air filters, Oil filters, Gaskets and Battery cases.

Tinplate is a formable material and can be printed, painted, soldered and welded easily.

Tinplate can be manufactured in very close specification and has excellent deformation properties enabling production of high speed, reliable, decorative, rigid and environment friendly packaging material containers with long and reliable shelf life.

Tinplate is fully degradable, hence does not cause any environmental instability. It can be recycled / reused / renewed for infinite number of times without reducing the utility of the material.
