Tocotrienols are members of the vitaminE family. As an essential nutrient for the body, vitamin E is made up of four tocopherols (alpha, beta, gamma, delta) and four tocotrienols (alpha, beta, gamma, delta). Although the structure of the tocotrienols and tocopherols are very similar, in some biological functions they have significant differences.
