Required information

1.Full name, address and nationality of the applicant.
 
2.Description of the trademark: meaning, color claimed, translation or transliteration of characters into English if the marks contain foreign character.
 
3.List of goods or services to be covered by the trademark, which shall be in accordance with the Nice Classification.
 
4.If the priority is claimed, application number and filing date of the original foreign application must be provided.
 
 
Required documents

1. A signed or sealed Power of Attorney(POA) by the applicant, which dose not have to be notarized and legalized.
 
2. A signed or sealed Application Form, which does not have to be notarized and legalized.
 
3.Marks, which is larger than *0mm **0mm and smaller than **0mm * **0mm (if any, electronic edition will be better).
 
4.Documents for claiming priority and English translation(if any).
 
 
General information

1. One trademark application covers only ten items in one class in China,
 
2. It usually takes one or two years from the filing date to obtain a Trademark Registration Certificate in China.
 
3. One registered trademark is valid for ten years from the registration day, and shall be renewed in each of ten years.
 
4. We suggest that the applicant shall search the trademark in databases of China before filing, in order to reduce the risk of refusal.
