Tungsten heavy alloy tubes are suitable raw material for radiation protection, as tungsten heavy alloy tubes combination of radiographic density (more than *0% denser than lead), good mechanical strength, and low thermal expansion, good corrosion resistance, high radiation absorption (superior to lead), simplified life cycle and high strength. Tungsten alloy is non-toxic and are generally considered environmentally friendly, unlike lead or depleted uranium. Most commonly tungsten heavy alloy tubes are used as vial and syringe shielding.
