The ring gauge, also known as a correction ring gauge, is a ring of a specific size and property for correcting the insufficiency of the gauge.
Ring gauges are shaft limit gauges that are primarily used to measure shafts or other exterior dimensions with tolerance classes of 1T6 to 1T*6. The ring gauge cannot test parts and crankshafts that are machined on the top of the shaft, and the application range is limited.
