cans ONLY. Free of steel, lead, foil, glass, organic material or
any other contamination.
UBC Aluminium Used Beverage Cans Scrap. Used beverage cans
from waste separation processes. Aluminum UBC Cans in Bales with
purity of *9% clear, hot water washed.
Aluminum Used Beverage Can (UBC) is a packaging container made
primarily of aluminum. It is widely used for packaging carbonated
soft drinks, fruit and vegetable juice, tea, sports drinks and
beer. UBC Scrap must be free from excessive dirt, liquid, other
scrap metals, lids, foil, plastic, paper, glass and other
non-metallic items.

What Are Used Beverage Can (UBC)?

As per the latest Scrap Specifications Circular ***7 released
by the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI), the
different categories of UBC are classified under the following ISRI
codes.

We recognise that far from being a waste, valuable scrap can
often form an essential part of our clients production
requirements. With this in mind, we always endeavour to segregate
and sort material for recycling back into the same alloy
series.
This philosophy is aligned to our customers wishing to create
a closed-loop recycling effect, encompassing the revert market for
some of the more exotic metals such as titanium and nickel
alloys.
However, sometimes the mixing of scrap is unavoidable, and as
a result we can also offer a wide range of secondary materials for
use in a variety of end markets.
