Waterjet cutting is essentially a cold cutting process. The work piece work piece is not subject to heat,hence are not heat-stressed, has no HAZ (Heat-Affected Zones) or structural changes that can adversely affect metallurgic properties in materials being cut thus ensuring no material damage.
