The Water watcher is shaped like a tulip hand crafted from Terra Cotta clay. Just No more spilling potting soil from your plant just to checking to see if it needs water. Just insert it into the soil of your potted plant. It adds decoration as well as functionality. If there is sufficient moisture in the plant, you will see the water as it rises into the water watcher. When the soil dry's the Water watcher will dry out. It's that simple.
