Wedge Wire Screen Tube

A wedge wire screen tube is also called Johnson Slotted Screen filter. It is made of wedge wire, which is the most popular industry filter type because of its outstanding chemical stability and corrosion resistance.
The wedge wire screen filter tube is composed of a working profile and a support profile.
The wire type of surface profile is commonly triangular wire, which is also called V-shaped wire. The support wire can be a flat bar, triangle bar, round bar, and trapezoid bar.

There are two types of wedge wire screen tubes seen from the surface.

• One is the normal type, which has continuous and regular angles on the edge. It is economical, which is suit the applications where the accuracy is not very strict.
• The other type is the perfect round type. It is produced by the strict standard, which has better filtering accuracy than the common type. Additionally, the perfect round type can be used in the most precise machines and complete the arduous filtering task.
