1. Introduction: 

 

Spiral classifier which can also be called spiral separator, is one of the ore dressing equipment which classifies the materials using the principle that different solid materials have different settlement speed in the liquid due to the difference in proportion. Spiral classifier is also called classifier for short. It is widely used to equip with ball mill grinding machine to make a closed cycle.

The spirial classifiers are widely used in the separation of ore in closed circuits with ball mills, grading ore and fine slit in gravity mills, grading granularity and flow of metal ore-dressing, and de-sliming and dehydrating in washing. 3. Working principle: 

Different grains have different specific gravity and sedimentation rates in slurry; Spiral Classifier allows fine ore to flow in the water, while coarse ore sinking to the bottom.
