â…  General XY**4 Core Drill, a new type of product whose drilling capacity was enhanced, is improved and designed by China National Geological Machinery & Instrument Industry Corporation and Xibei Exploration Machinery Factory based on XY*4 and XY**2 for the purpose of meeting the need of deeper depth of geology exploration development. It is applicated for engineering geological exploration drilling, hydrogeology well drilling and big-hole basic engineering drilling including core drilling with tungalloy-carbid-tipped and diamond bit mainly. There are reasonable structure, light weight, powerful capacity, multiuse, steady performance, high responsibility and high standardization and generalization. â…¡ Main Features of XY**4 drill 1. There are more speed grade (8 grades), reasonable speed range and high torque while low speed. (Max. torque is up to ***0 N?m) The drill is adapted on core drilling with tungalloy-carbid-tipped and diamond oil as well as engineering geology exploration, hydrology well drilling and basic pile engineering. 2. There is a large spindle I.D (*3mm). The drill is fed with double cylinders that travels much longer. (The stroke is up to **0 mm). The adopted technology can be adapted on many, especially on large diameter drill pipe drilling that extracts the core with wire line (up part), thus it is more effective for improving drilling efficiency and decreasing the rate of trouble. 3. There is a powerful performance. The rated drilling depth comes up to ***0m with *1 mm diamond drill pipe that extracts core with wire line. 4. There is light weight, and it can be separated into ten parts easily(the biggest apparatus that can be separated from the drill weights **0 kg), The whole drill weighs ***0kg, The drill can be moved easily especially in mountains. 5. The hydraulic spider disk with a hydraulic lock is supplied oil in two opposite directions. There is a strong and steady clamping force. 6. The drill is aligned a water brake. It is steady and secure in deep hole drilling. 7. It adopts a double-gear pump to supply oil. The pump may operates with single or double gears, so there is a low consumption of energy and a low temperature of hydraulic system oil, and the drilling is steady. The hand reeling oil pump may be used to hoist the drilling tools in hole when the power engine can not operate. 8. There are tight structure and reasonable layout. All the apparatus are exposed and not adapted. It is easy to maintain and repair. 9. There are low centroids a long travelling distance (up to **0 mm), a reliable fixation and a good stability in high speed drilling. *0.
