Zinc Ribbon Anode

Main Application:

   Zinc ribbon anodes are widely used in petroleum and chemial industries as well as ocean engineering, transportation, power supply and municipal structures. Generally, Zinc ribbon anodes are applied to the working medium with resistivity lower than ***0 ohm.cm. in case that teh coating of the protected steel structure is in good condition or the soil around is moist, Zinc ribbon anode can be used in the medium with resistivity higher than ***0 ohm.cm. Use of filling materials can improve the performance of Zinc anodes. Standard filling materials are calcium sulphate plus bentonite which is able to absorb and then keep moisture to reduce the resistance around teh anode.
