N*5 particulate respirators
(3M ***0; 3M ***1; 3M ***1; 3M ***0; 3M ***1): 3M N*5 masks are required to prevent more than *5 percent of airborne contaminants from entering a user's airway. Masks with an N" designation offer protection against solid and non-oil-based particles. Each 3M N*5 mask/particulate respirator in our catalog is approved by the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health.

R*5 particulate respirators
(3M ***0; 3M ***6; 3M ***7): R*5 particulate respirator masks must be at least *5 percent efficient against airborne contaminants in laboratory tests. R*5 masks are somehow resistant to oil-based particles. All the R*5 particulate respirator masks in Enviro Safety Products' inventory are NIOSH-approved.

P*5 particulate respirators
(3M ***1; 3M ***6; 3M ***7): P*5 particulate respirator masks are required to filter at least *5 percent of airborne contaminant particles during lab tests. P*5 masks are strongly resistant to oil, and each one in our catalog has been approved by NIOSH.

3M ***3 N**0 respirators and 3M ***3 P**0 respirators
N**0 masks are at least *9.*7 percent efficient against airborne contaminants. However, they are not resistant to oils. P**0 particulate masks are required to filter at least *9.*7 percent of airborne contaminants and are considered strongly resistant to oil. Each N**0 and P**0 particulate respirator mask in our catalog is NIOSH-approved.
