6 Days Kilimanjaro Climb � Machame Route

Day 1: Nairobi - Moshi

Transfer from Nairobi to Moshi. Lunch at Arusha zrriving Moshi late afternoon. Acclamatize before retiring for diner and overnight at the YMCA or Hotel
Day 2: Machame

Transfer from your hotel too Machame park gate. From here you trek through the lush forest to Machame hut (*0,**0ft/***0m) dinner and overnight at the camp/hut.
                                       Day 3: Shira Hut

Leave the forest, the path follows a deep ridge passing through heather and open moorlands and crossing a ridge to reach Shira hut. (*2,**0ft / ***0m).
                                      Day 4: Barranco Hut

You turn Eastwards and continue through the dry landscape before dropping to reach Barranco hut (****0ft / ***0m. Overnight stay at the hut or camp.
Day 5: Barranco Hut - Barafu Hut

The path climbs steeply out of the Barranco Valley, crosses the Karanga Valley then turns North to reach Barafu Hut (*5,**0ft/***0m)
.                    Day 6: Crater Rim

A long day and early start to reach the crater rim at Stella point in time for sunrise.
