Camping Safaris are designed for those in search of real adventure, who enjoy the unpredictable wilderness. On Safaris you are expected to help with the camp chores and setting up the tents.

Our Expert safari cooks will prepare you meals over wood fires. Those who join are from all walks of life and nationalities usually between *6 – *0 years. Age however is not the criteria; all that is needed is a sense of humor, a willingness to participate and a spirit of adventure.

Personal spending money
Small suitcase or rucksack as storage space is limited

One set of warm cloths and plenty of cloths for the hot days
Film for the duration of the safaris
It is a good idea to bring drinks for consumption and around the camp fire in the evenings

EXAMPLE OF ADVENTOURS 3 Days Maasai Mara

Day 1: Nairobi - Maasai Mara *9:*0hrs
Depart from our Nairobi office for a journey south along the Rift Valley. Picnic lunch at Narok and then climb the western wall entering Hemingways Country "Serengeti Plains". Arrive Maasai Mara in the early evening with a game drive enroute or if time permits a full game drive of 2 hrs. Meals and overnight at the camp/lodge
. Day 2: Maasai Mara
Full day game viewing with picnic lunch across the rich tree studded grasslands and rolling hills. The Maasai Mara is renowned for it's great herds of plain game, black-manned lion,leopard and cheetah.It also has numerous elephants and virtually every type of wildlife found in Kenya. Meals and overnight at the camp/lodge.

Day 3: Maasai Mara - Nairobi
An early morning game drive at ***0hrs. After breakfast depart for Nairobi with picnic lunch enroute arriving late afternoon or early evening.

Day 1: Nairobi - Amboseli
*9:*0hrs Leave Nairobi and drive south through Maasai country via Namanga on the Tanzania boarder with picnic lunch enroute. On arrival set up camp and time permitting proceed for a game drive which provides a chance to see Rhino, Lions, Giraffes, Elephants and other animals with Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain providing a beautiful back drop. Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge.

Day 2: Amboseli

*6:*0hrs Proceed for an early game drive then return to the camp/lodge for full breakfast. Further games drive after breakfast until lunch hour. Meals at the lodge / camp. Relax in the tent or swimming pool after lunch. *6.*0hrs: Proceed for an evening game drive until *8.*0hrs then return to the camp/lodge for dinner and overnight. Day 3: Amboseli - Nairobi

An early morning game drive then full breakfast. Leave after with picnic lunches to arrive Nairobi late afternoon.

Day 1: Nairobi – Maasai Mara ***0 hrs.
Drive through lush Kikuyu farmland to the edge of the Rift Valley. Desce
the escarpment and drive via Narok to Maasai Mara Game Reserve Picnic lunch is served en-route. The Maasai Mara adjoins Tanzania's Serengeti National Park. The reserve is famous for its Black-Manned Lion and yearly migration of Wildebeests and Zebras. Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino, Gazelle, Leopard and Giraffe are also found here. Game viewing is done en-route to the camp. Time permitting a further game drive. Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge.

        Day 2: Maasai Mara
A full day spent viewing and exploiting this spectacular park. All the big five can be seen.Maasai Mara is also famous for its bird life. Meals and overnight at the camp/.lodge.

         Day 3: Maasai Mara / Nakuru
After breakfast leave for L.Nakuru. Lunch enroute arriving in time for a game drive at ***0hrs to ***0hrs. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.

        Day 4: L. Nakuru / Nairobi
Spend the morning watching and photographing birds and wild animals in the park. Depart after lunch for Nairobi stopping at L. Naivasha for boat riding to the crescent Island (optional, cost direct) or visit the Crater Lake. Arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon. NB: Extra night can be added at the Mara to make 5 days.
