[Procedure]

1 Dilute tested serum samples by *0 times.

2 Add *****0 ul mixed specimen in the sample hole of test card.

3 Place the test card on a flat surface, start the timer and wait *5 minutes for the red line(s) to appear.

[Interpretation]

Positive：Two distinct red lines appear. One line should be in the control line (C) and the other in the test (T) line. The intensity of color in the test line will vary depending on the level of rabies virus antibodies.

Weakly positive: Two distinct red lines appear. However color of the test (T) line is weak, the antibody titer of those samples was 0.5 IU/ml≤VNT＜1IU/ml.

Negative：One red line appears in the control (C) line. No apparent red/pink line appears in the test (T) line.

Invalid：Control line fails to appear. Insufficient specimen volume or incorrect procedural techniques are the most likely reason for control line failure. Review the procedure and repeat the test with a new test card. If the problem persists, discontinue using the kit immediately and contact your local distributor.

[Note]

Positive result indicates that rabies virus antibody level reached the level of protection against street virus attack. Weakly positive result indicates that rabies virus antibody level reached the lowest level of protection and the animals should take a booster immunization. Negative result indicates that there was no rabies virus antibody or rabies virus antibody level lower than the minimum level of protection and if the animals were healthy a vaccination of rabies virus must be necessary.

[Warnings and precautions]

1 Please read the instructions before use.

2 Samples can be serum from dogs and cats.

3 After the test card was taken from aluminium foil bag, to do the test immediately, avoid placing the test card in the air too long in cases of moisture absorption.

4 The experimental environment should maintain a certain humidity, and is sheltered from wind.

5 The kit should be stored at 2~*5℃ and placed in room temperature prior to testing.
