Automotive Gas Oil (AGO) which is also known as diesel is a by-product of crude oil. It is gotten in the mid-boiling range of the crude oil refining process. AGO is a less flammable fuel compared to other petroleum products such as premium motor spirit.

Automotive Gas Oil, or AGO, is the name given to fuel intended for use in road vehicles (trucks, buses, vans and cars) powered by diesel engines. AGO is used in two main types of vehicle: Heavy-duty vehicles, such as trucks and buses. Light-duty vehicles, such as vans and passenger cars.

Petroleum means rock oil or oil from the earth. Crude oil is found in large underground deposits, in tiny spaces within sedimentary rocks, and near the surface in tar (or oil) sands. Petroleum products are made from crude oil and other hydrocarbons contained in natural gas.
