The Baltic Sphagnum peat moss is well known worldwide because of its biological, physical and chemical parameters. It is an excellent horticultural material for greenhouses, gardens and substrates manufacturing.

All our peat moss is divided from H1 to H*0 according to its decomposition degree by the Von Post scale. The slightly decomposed White (Blond) peat moss is also called the H2H4. The White peat moss that is moderately decomposed (also called the Brown peat moss) is the H4H6. In comparison, this one has an ability to hold less water than the H*-H4 peat moss and is mostly used for specific applications, e.g. vegetable young plant propagation. Finally, our Dark-Brown to Black peat, is called to be the H5H7, according to Von Post scale. It is highly decomposed sphagnum peat moss that has a natural pH (H*0) level of 3.**4.5 as well.
