Calcium carbide, that is, calcium carbide, inorganic compounds . Colorless crystals , industrial gray color for the tilting, the cross section for the purple or gray. Immediate violent reaction with water to produce acetylene , and produce heat. Calcium carbide is an important basic chemical raw materials, mainly used to produce acetylene gas. Also used in organic synthesis, oxy-acetylene welding.
Explosion Hazards: This product is flammable when wet.
Storage Precautions Stored in a cool, dry, well ventilated warehouse.  Relative humidity below *5%. Packaging must be sealed and not damp. Should be acid and alcohol kept separately and avoid mixing reservoir. Storage areas should be equipped with a suitable host material spill.
