Canthaxanthin mainly used as animal feed additive to enhance the yellow-orange color of egg yolk. It is also used for coloring broiler skin. KEY BENEFITS AND CHARACTERISTICS Besides as a colorant,the biological functions of canthaxanthin are related, at least in part, to its ability to function as a lipid-soluble antioxidant (free radical scavenging/vitamin E sparing) in animal tissues. 1. After coloring, the tone is not affected by the pH value,quite stable to sunlight and not easy to fade. 2.Canthaxanthin can also act as an antioxidant, protecting animal cells from free radiation. 3.It can also change the skin fat and so on of poultry,Increases the color and brightness of skin, feet, ketone bodies and eggs. USAGE & RECOMMENDED DOSAGE: Canthaxanthin is allowed by law to be added to trout feed, salmon feed and poultry feed. Recommended dosage: Don't exceed the limit 80mg/kg.
