Tris (full name trimethylamine) is a common biological buffer,
which is not only widely used in nucleic acid and protein solvents,
but also one of the main components of protein electrophoresis
buffer, but also can produce a variety of chemical, pesticide and
pharmaceutical products, and is an important intermediate for the
preparation of surfactants, vulcanization accelerators and some
drugs. In addition, it can also be used to prepare composite phase
change materials.
Phase change material is a material that changes the state

The technicians used the solution impregnation method to fill the
trimethyl methyl methane into porous silica gel with the pore size

specific preparation methods are as follows:
1. Determine the mass ratio according to the filling rate and the
pore volume of the hole material, weigh and mix them in the glass
tube;
2. Add 4 times of deionized water as solvent, **3k water bath,
dissolve;
3. The solvent volatilized by continuous water bath and the
solution uniformity was kept by stirring;
4. Until the solvent evaporates, the solute is completely left in
the pore, and the filling effect is achieved.
The morphology and thermal storage properties of the two composites
were characterized by SEM, XRD and DSC. The space limit of nano
size affected the thermal storage properties of trimethylamine
methane, which made the phase change temperature, latent heat,
supercooling and thermal cycling performance of the composite
materials improved significantly.
Phase change materials have a wide application prospect in solar
energy utilization, electronic devices, medical and health
products, aviation and space equipment, building energy saving and
so on. The modified composite solves the problems existing in the
use of trimethylaminomethane alone, improves the application
performance of conventional phase change materials, makes the
composite phase change materials have a wider temperature control
range, more accurate heat storage capacity and more sensitive
temperature response, which makes it possible to apply it in real
life.
