Caustic soda :
Caustic soda is a highly corrosive base or alkaline chemical widely utilized in several different industries. Some common uses include organic chemical production, cosmetic production, soaps & detergent production, paint manufacturing, paper and cellulose, textile bleaching, glass and ceramic manufacturing, food processing, manufacturing rayon, fuel cell production, water treatment, and plumbing (drain cleaners often contain lye). Due to caustic soda factors, it has used in many different industries. Sodium hydroxide or caustic soda is a white solid substance with the chemical formula NaOH and it is obtained through the process of electrolysis of sodium chloride soluble in the electrolytic containers. It is called caustic soda because it is highly corrosive in nature
