Sodium Hyaluronate is a major component of intercellular substances and distributes in other tissues widely. Sodium hyaluronate is the sodium salt of hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is found naturally in the fluid that bathes joints, in the vitreous humor of the eye and in the skin. It's abundant in the dermis of young skin, but levels of this important compound decline with age. This makes skin look olderin and is usually well tolerated even by people with sensitive skin.

As shown in the figure,the water uptake of Sodium Hyaluronate is exteemely high compared to other moisturizers under the relative humidity *3%,but lowest water uptake under relative humidity *5%.Despite changes in external humidity ,it is capable of maintaining the constant moisture.

Skin Slip Resistance

Sodium Hyaluronate?s low skin slip resistance maintains excellent skin lubricity as shown on the right.
