Derrick type flare stack consists of flare stack and derrick. The derrick is triangle or quadrilateral steel structure, while the flare stack includes stack and flare header. With derrick type flare stack, the ignition and combustion is under remote control and is done on the flare header, whose altitute is adjustable from minimum of 5m to maximum of **0m. The flare system includes gas venting network and flare stack. Gas venting network includes venting gas pipeline and condensate piplines; the flare stack includes flare header, stack, deparation drum, water seal drum, nitrogen sealing drum, igniter and pump etc. The flare header has ever-burning lamp, which is under constant combustion after ignition. Venting gas is ignited instantly as soon as reaching the flare header. Flare header, which is installed on top of the flare stack, helps to control raidation and spread of toxic gas.
