The Carribean Red Habanero has scored up to an incredible **5,**0 Scoville Units on the hotness scale, which is rivaled only by the legendary Red Savina Habanero (**5,**0). Of course, your mileage may vary according to the season and record-high hotness scores are always exceptional. But you can be sure that the Caribbean Red packs a powerful wallop by any measure *- that is, about twice as hot as an ordinary Habanero.  Peppers grow to about 1" in diameter and **1/2" in length.
