Chili Peppers(Capiscum annuum) is a member of the night night shades family which are related to bell peppers and tomatoes.The chili pepper is the the fruit of plants from the genus capsicum.Chili peppers are primarily used in many cuisins as spice to add heat to dishes. They can be cooked or dried and powdered.The powdered red chili peppers are known as paprika.Other varieties of the chili peppers are the Cayennes and Jalapenos.
