Ethanol is an organic compound, commonly known as alcohol, the structure of simple type of CH3CH2OH or C2H5OH, molecular formula of C2H6O, and is saturated monobasic alcohol with a hydroxyl group and is a flammble volatile colorless and transparent liquid under normal temperature and perssure, of which aqueous solution is slightly irritant with a bouquet. There isa smell of wine and a pungent taste of irritation, slightly sweet.
