PRODUCT DESCRIPTION SBOND **8TM RTV Silicone Gasket Maker provides the following product characteristics:

SBOND **8TM RTV Silicone Gasket Maker is a fast cure RTV Gasket Maker.It remains

pliable and flexible and isdesigned to seal flanges, threaded connections and fasteners at temperaturesfrom**5 °C to ***5 °C. It can be effectively applied to cork, paper, plastic and metal surfaces.
Typical applications

sealing gaskets;

flanges and threaded connections;

aircraft heating systems;

manifolds;

pipefittings;

steam lines;

gear boxes and cover plates.

Directions for use
1. Clean and dry all surfaces.
2. Apply SBOND ***2™ onto both surfaces and spread with spatula or putty knife.
3. Assemble parts immediately while still wet. Secure or tighten to recommended torque specifications.
4. Allow 3 to 5 hours before using equipment.
5. Re-torque will not be necessary after the product has cured.

Storage
Store product in the unopened container in a dry location.
Storage information may be indicated on the product container labeling.
Optimal Storage: 8 °C to *1 °C. Storage below 8 °C or greater than *8 °C can adversely affect product properties. Material removed from containers may be contaminated during
