Uridan non-water urinals operate without water and without flushing. Uridan’s patented built in waste trap provides for an odourless, hygienic and low maintenance system that not only saves our valuable water but also saves on the high costs of water and sewer.
Uridanurinals contain a patented built-in waste trap. Urilock blocking fluid, which is lighter than urine, is poured into the waste trap and floats on the surface of the urine to create a perfect seal, which eliminates unpleasant odors. When the urinal is used, the urine flows through the blocking liquid into the drainpipe. Since the waste trap is built in, there is no unsanitary urine filled cartridges to carry around and dispose of.
The Unique Uridan Design:
The Uridan urinals are made from durable fibreglass with a double layer high gloss, non-porous sanitary gel coat finish. They are lightweight, weighing just less than *0 lbs. and can easily be fitted to most walls connecting to the waste pipes using standard 2 inch PVC pipe fittings.
Uridan urinalsare available in a variety of colors including:
white, granite, grey, beige, and ivory. Custom colors are also
available. Because of the sleek design, the Uridan urinals will
enhance the look of a restroom while ensuring it is free from
unpleasant odors.
Installation:
Installation of the Uridan urinals is a simple process. Since the Uridan urinals work
without water, they only need to be connected to the waste outlet. Every packing case contains a mounting template, scale 1:1. Simply position the template against the wall, drill the holes where indicated, remove the template and complete the fitting of the
brackets and waste connection. Once the Uridan urinal is mounted, a silicone sealant is then applied to the outside of the urinal where it meets the wall.
Replacement of existing water flush urinals consists of capping off the water supply and simply installing the Uridan urinal as directed and connecting it to the waste pipe.
