The Coir Husk is subjected to a **0% physical conversion where Coir Fibre and Coco Peat are separated. In the Coconut Triangle of Sri Lanka (Interconnecting Cities such as Colombo-Kurunegala-Chillaw) the main agricultural crop is Coconut. The people living there who owns coconut lands to the extent of *0 acres or more, converts the coconut husks in to value added product (of course the main product is coconut meant for domestic and overseas market). This conversion is a labor intensive mechanical process and being practiced as a home industry. The end products of coconut husk conversions are Coir Fibre and Coco Peat. These valued added products are delivered to outsourcing parties who are manufacturing Coir Fibre Mattresses and Coco Peat. There is no contamination whatsoever of the product and does not arise the question of non compliance material.
