Quadrant Suite offers solutions for visibility, tracking and localisation, both for people and for valuable assets. Based on Active RFID technology, Quadrant offers a sensitivity and precision which are truly amazing in enclosed environment or outdoors. Thanks to its wireless communication, setting up a Quadrant localisation system is extremely simple, cutting implementation time and facilitating maintenance tasks. The Quadrant suite comprises TAGs, receivers and localisation algorithms, which gives it the flexibility necessary to fit into any environment, from huge airports to small geriatric homes. Quadrant offers precise information on the location of all the Tags, in addition to acquiring data on them, such as temperature, light intensity or simply to transfer information to the device it is connected to. Quadrant Tags Quadrant Active RFID Tags are characterised by their small size and by a truly low use of electricity, allowing the internal battery to last as long a more than five years. The Tags can be programmed or reprogrammed wirelessly, such as broadcast activation or intervals. The industrial-grade cover which is water resistant and has an appealing look makes it multipurpose, whether for personal use or to be combined with other components. In addition, it has two configurable pushbuttons to be used as alarm triggers or for personalisation in accordance with the needs of the client. Quadrant Tag is the optimal solution not just for tasks involving localisation, tracking or inventory management, but also for simple, real-time monitoring of machinery if it is in constant movement. This is very valuable information which allows for anticipating or simply optimising the production process. Quadrant Readers Quadrant Readers permit the reception of the signal from the Q-Tags which have been entered into the system, transferring this information to the server and/or storing it locally for subsequent use. One of Q-Reader**9;s advantages is without doubt its capacity for triggering programmed alarms, which may be very useful in preventing certain materials from leaving the area, or detecting some Q-Tag in a restricted area. The type of alarm can be as precise as a telephone call and a voice announcement which identified the person or device, as well as the area in question. The Q-Readers can host up to three different antennas for increased coverage or a more exact localisation of the Q-Tags. Communication with the server is carried out via the Ethernet or WIFI infrastructure in order to speed up system implementation. All of the Q-Readers have several self-checking and auto-resent elements which increase the system**9;s reliability enormously. Quadrant Engine Quadrant Engine is the heart of the platform; thanks to information from the Q-Tags, Q-Readers and with the help of a potent real-time locating algorithm (N-RTLA) developed by NEVATEC, we can obtain localisation data from Q-Tag with a margin of error of less than two metres. The localisation of the Q-Tags does not depend on, as in other defined-cell platforms of three or more readers, which gives it a superior capacity and a three-dimensional approach never before seen in conventional RTLS systems. Q-Tag monitoring is totally configurable, and with one glance can offer, in addition to localisation data, additional telemetric data or even external data transmitted from the carrying device. Q-Engine has a query generator which increases the system**9;s efficiency even more and above all, the use of data. In addition, any information is able to be automatically exported in real time to its management platform. Finally, we think that it is relevant to highlight the possibility of programming alerts based on the analysis of data, both telemetric and location-related. These alerts are transmitted to the receiving party via several media such as: e-mails, SMS, pagers, etc.
