Roof construction is stiff, sealed and consists of self-bearing
bolted elements. It allows leaning oversilo galleries directly on
the roof making for an economy of steel as compared with a variant
of gallery lean on foundation plate. Calculation of silo roof is
made for the region mentioned by the Customer.
Silo walls are made of corrugated galvanized steel sheets with
different thickness connected between each other by bolts.
For hovering stability of the construction steel stiffeners (supports and straps) of different thickness are used. Connections between the supports and wall sheet are made by means of bolts. In silos with big handling capacity (more than 2, **0 tons) special rings are used to increase wind resistance of the construction.
Steel (non-galvanized) silo elements are treated by hot-dip galvanizing or are painted by special zinc-containing solution (Zn not less than *6%) at the Customer's request.
