This steam table pan are used as durable food holders for food
service purpose. They are perfect for holding food, condiments, or
any other eatery items. They are widely used in every hotel,
restaurant, catering, canteen and even home kitchen. You can also
see them in food bars, food cart, take-away stores, buffets,
freezer and the like. They can also be used as a simple roast pan
in the oven, a food pan of the chafing dish or food warmer, tray of
the bain marie and so on.
The steam table pans are actually made in a number of standard
sizes, standard depths, and different materials, so that they all
act as a roughly interchangeable set. Two steps in choosing the
right size of steam pan that you are looking for:
1), In foodservice industry, we use full, half, third, -quarter,
sixth and ninth size as referring to standard steam pan size term.
You can mix and match sizes to give you one full size steam pan
space. For instance, you can buy 2 half size, or 3 third size steam
pans for your full size chafer or food warmer.
2), Next selection is the depth of the steam pan. Standard sizes
are *5mm, **0mm and **0mm and **0mm deep. We carry the entire range
of pans in stainless steel, clear polycarbonate (P. C, for cold
food bars only), plus lids for everything, and drain plates, and
adaptor bars, and even the pans themselves in a perforated version
(in stainless steel only).
