 Coir Yarn:-

we export coconut coir yarns that are extracted from coconut husks. The fiber is mechanically extracted from dry mature coconut husks after soaking them for quite a long period. Our expert labors remove the impurities that are present in them and these are dyed in varied colors as per the requirements of the clients. These have long durability and have natural glow that make these yarns specials. Coir Yarn is generally of 2 ply, spun from coir fiber by hand as well as with the help of traditional ratts, fully automatic spinning machines etc. The Coir yarn is of different qualities/grades based on the quality of fiber used, the nature of twist, presence of impurities etc. Available in different forms like hydraulically pressed bales, spools bobbins, dholes, balls etc. cut length for various industrial and agricultural purposes.
Brown coir is used in floor mats and doormats, brushes, mattresses, floor tiles and sacking. A small amount is also made into twine. Pads of curled brown coir fiber, made by needle-felting (a machine technique that mats the fibers together) are shaped and cut to fill mattresses and for use in erosion control on river banks and hillsides. A major proportion of brown coir pads are sprayed with rubber latex which bonds the fibers together (rubberized coir) to be used as upholstery padding for the automobile industry in Europe. The material is also used for insulation and packaging. 

The major use of white coir is in rope manufacture. Mats of woven coir fiber are made from the finer grades of bristle and white fiber using hand or mechanical looms. White coir also used to make fishing nets due to its strong resilience to salt water. 

In horticulture, coir is recommended as substitute for sphagnum moss because it is free of bacteria and fungal spores, and is sustainably produced without the environmental damage caused by peat mining.
