INTRODUCTION The Model NH **4 is a personal AMMONIA DETECTOR / MONITOR is designed to detect presence of Ammonia & indicate NH3 gas concentration at any time. It can be used intermittently or continuously and will sound an alarm at two preset levels, typically *0 ppm & *0 ppm. Visible LED indication is also provided for alarm condition. DESCRIPTION The NH**4 is a miniature ammonia indicator and alarm small enough to be worn in a shirt pocket. It uses a diffusion-type sensor and has a liquid crystal digital (LCD) display to show NH3 concentration directly in PPM. The instrument features the following audible and visual alarms. a. Rising Gas: When concentration reaches *0 ppm a pulsing alarm will sound. b. High alarm: When concentration reaches *0 ppm, a continuous steady tone will sound. c.
