The cardboard filter medias operate on the principle of the centrifugal arrestance. The airflow in the "folded labyrinth" is looped many times and strongly changes direction. The paint particles positioned on the outer half of the airflow are deposited on the walls of the filter media. Thus the way of the airflow is unrestricted and the lifetime of the filter obviously increases. Cardboard filter pads have the advantage of **5 times higher paint storage capacity than the regular filter medias. The folded filters consist of recyclable cardboard. They are drawn to their proper size not until the installation takes place. Therefore storage- and transportation costs are very low. Cardboard filters are supplied in packing-units of *0 m².
