1. INTRODUCTION This Model is a personal Methane gas Detector/ Indicator designed to detect presence of combustible (Methane) gas & indicate concentration at any time. It can be used intermittently or continuously and will sound an alarm at two preset levels, typically *0 % LEL & *0%LEL. Visible LED indication is also provided for alarm condition. 2. DESCRIPTION This is a hand held gas detector/monitor and alarm small enough to carry in hand. It uses a sampling-type sensor, the sensor is mounted in diffusion type sensing operation and has a liquid crystal digital (LCD) display to show combustible gas concentration directly in % LEL. The instrument features the following audible and visual alarms. ***** Gas: When concentration reaches *0 % LEL a pulsing alarm will sound with blinking LED. b.High alarm : When concentration reaches *0 % LEL, a continuous steady tone will sound with steady LED. c. Low Batt alarm : When battery capacity is exhausted, âï¿&frac*2;ï¿&frac*2; BATTâï¿&frac*2;ï¿&frac*2; indication will come on bottom left hand corner of LCD.
