Pit type Gas Carburizing Furnace

Application:

energy-saving, high temperature materials and the advanced
integration of a closed water-cooled industrial furnace blower, the
Furnace of this kind has uniform temperature, uniform carbon
potential atmosphere, uniform Carburizing layer, faster warming,
good heat-insulating property, fast carburizing speed, even no
carburizing atmosphere leaks out when the furnace pressure gets
higher. Thus it promotes the production efficiency and makes a good
carburizing quality.
Structure
Carburizing Furnace consists of
furnace shell, lining, Lid lifting body, sealed furnace blower,
Muffle can, heating element and Electronic Control System,
etc.
Furnace shell is welded steel
plates and shaped steels. The furnace insulation layer and
refractory layer are of Energy-saving composite structures that
constructed of Density 0.6g/cm3 Ultra-high-intensity light energy
firebrick, aluminum silicate fiber, Diatomite insulation bricks and
asbestos board. Loading and lifting mechanism of the furnace cover
is composed of motor and wheel pump, etc. When open the cover, it
will rise at ****0mm/s as soon as you press the control button. For
the safety, two overtravel-limit switches are mounted on the
lifting shaft. While the furnace cover is rising, the under-part
switch will automatically cut off the control power to make the
heat element stop working. The upside of the switch limits the
height of the lifting shaft in case that the lifting shaft rise too
high and pull away.
The seal fan is mounted to the
furnace cover, used to make the atmosphere in Muffle Can uniform by
stirring it. It also makes the furnace temperature tend towards
uniformity. There are three pipes mounted on the furnace cover
connecting into the Muffle can. One pipe is mounted with a
triplehead stainless steel instillator on top, through which
dropping methanol, kerosene, or other organic liquids into the
furnace. Those liquids can be adjusted in quantity. The ammonia gas
hole in this tube can be used for nitrocarburizing (It can be
sealed when out of nitriding).One tube of the other two is a
sampling tube made from refractory steel (casting).The upside of
this tube is connected to a “U” glass manometer, monitoring the
Muffle Can to maintain furnace pressure and keep Carburizing and
Nitrocarburizing normal. Heat element is made of helically wound
alloying heater strip, mounted on the inner wall of furnace brick
lining, sending signals to the automatic temperature control
cabinet by means of extension wire. The temperature control cabinet
automatically controls, adjusts and records the heating-up
temperature.
