Trimethyl phosphate

Description

TMP is a colorless transparent liquid phosphoric-ester with an extremely high phosphorus content. Used as stabilizer and catalyst for polyester and other high-polymers, and also as plasticizer, additive, solvent, etc. The boiling point of TMP is low when compared with other phosphoric esters and it is soluble in water, ether, alcohol etc. High compatibility with resin makes it effective for special applications where this property is crucial. This product is to be used as additive for polyester fiber. By adding TMP into polyester fiber during processing coloring of fiber which dyeing ability is increased. TMP also is used as special solvent. Excellent as a solvent for organic rearrangement reactions including the formation of carbanion. It may be used as quality enhancer for graphite products and as a viscosity reducer for epoxide resin.
